Frequently Asked Questions

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that focuses on helping individuals of all ages improve their ability to perform daily activities (also known as "occupations"). This can include tasks such as dressing, cooking, working, or participating in hobbies and social activities. OTs use a range of strategies, such as education, home modifications, and adaptive equipment to increase client safety and independence with their occupations. OTs work with people recovering from injury, living with a disability, managing chronic conditions, or experiencing age-related challenges.

How can occupational therapy benefit me?

Occupational therapy can benefit individuals of all ages and abilities by helping them improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Our services are designed to enhance independence, promote health and wellness, and improve overall quality of life.
